Untitled Document

AM2 and AM3 processors are the most common for standard applications as they cover a large range of processor speeds allowing the user to upgrade to a faster processor without changing motherboard.

These processors come in a number of different types:

Sempron - These are single core processors creating a cheap and cheerful solution for any computer for surfing the internet or using simple office applications.

Athlon - These processors are available in dual or tri core (X2/X3), meaning they have two or three processors joined together, great for multi tasking or using CPU intensive programs such as photoshop or audio editing software.

Phenom - These are the high end processors in the market great for gaming and other high intensive programs. Phenoms are available in dual core versions (X2) right up to 8 cores (X8)!

Black edition, factory over clocked processors are also available. These push the chip beyond what they are normally capable of and unlocking the full potential of a processor.
