Motherboard - Intel Atom

The motherboard, also sometimes referred to as the main board, is a collection of devices (together on one large circuit board) that control the flow of data and operating electricity for all the primary components in a PC - for example, the CPU, memory, graphics adapter and sound card.

Unlike most, these super small motherboards generally feature inbuilt Intel Atom processors. These processors are very low voltage allowing for a very efficient, low power system while not sacrificing on performance.

These motherboards are compatible with Mini ITX cases such as the Asrock Ion and the processor speed and board features differ between different motherboards so it is important to check the specification.
