Sumvision's Tempest LX is a portable enclosure that is simple to use and will satisfy the needs of most users. It supports SATA and SATA II interfaces as well as USB 2.0 allowing great data transfer speeds.
The enclosure supports plug and play capabilities, requiring no drivers, and is hot swappable, allowing you to quickly and easily connect and disconnect it from your PC. The Sumvision Tempest LX is able to mount both 3.5 Inch SATA hard drives as well as 5.25 Inch optical disc drives.
This unit is ideal for use with Netbooks in particular where there is no internal space for a disc such as a CD, DVD or Bluray.
